Albers Management is recruiting for multiple Project & Field Engineer and for projects in Blythewood (Columbia), South Carolina.


Relocation is available for this position.


Responsibilities include:

The Project Engineer's main responsibilities include supporting the project management team as needed such as administering Procore, maintaining reporting documents and updating contractor progress, supporting RFI resolution through field verification of existing conditions, coordinating construction activities with contractors, etc. Additionally, the Project Engineer serves as a liaison between the project management team, the construction team, and the client, communicating technical information, identifying potential solutions to technical problems, and ensuring that all technical aspects of the project meet the client's requirements. He or she works closely with project managers, contract managers, discipline and field engineers, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to support the team. Generally, this position is a relatively entry-level position designed to give the individual exposure to a wide variety of project functions and support their overall professional development.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in construction
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields
  • Possess the ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings and construction documents; no design experience is necessary
  • Knowledge of civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
