Role- Process Engineer

Location: Houston TX


Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our client team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S/6S methodologies, and process flow mapping to improve and optimize our operational processes. This role requires hands-on collaboration with the team to drive efficiency and enhance productivity while ensuring the highest quality standards are met.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S/6S methodologies to streamline operations and eliminate waste.
  • Develop and maintain process flow maps to identify areas for improvement and optimize workflow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency gains.
  • Utilize data analysis and statistical methods to identify root causes of inefficiencies and develop solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the implementation of process improvements.
  • Train and mentor team members on Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance and compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in process engineering within the automotive, industrial, or mechanical industries.
  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S/6S implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on approach with a demonstrated ability to work closely with team members to implement process improvements.
  • Experience with process flow mapping and optimization techniques.
