Principal Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Architect to join our team. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading and driving the architectural direction of our microservices-based applications. You will work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architectures.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software development, architecture and design. 5+ years of experience in architecting Microservices based solutions.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.

Good To Have

• Experience with MongoDB Schema design and adopting MongoDB Patterns.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
• Experience with API design and management.
• Experience with distributed tracing and monitoring.
• Experience with security and compliance best practices.

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in Reading PA is 180K-200K, and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
