Job DescriptionJob descriptionWe are seeking experienced Caregivers/BHT's to join our team in South Phoenix. Work will be performed in a residential treatment setting serving male and female adults. If you are a punctual, self starter, motivated employee then this may be the position for you. If interested please feel free to reply to this posting with resume and availability.
Position Summary:Candidates must provide outstanding client service and care with compassion and discretion. Our ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience in a behavioral healthcare setting. A High School Diploma or GED is required. The BHT is responsible for providing direct care and support for clients throughout the duration of their treatment.
Responsibilities:
1. Provision of support in an individual and group setting2. Assisting the Primary Therapist in management of their caseload3. Providing client support services while in treatment and in residence4. Coordination of, and assistance with, client activities5. Creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable, and client-focused treatment environment6. Assisting clinical and admissions staff as needed7. Documentation8. Maintaining strict client confidentiality, HIPAA compliance9. Supervision and management of the therapeutic milieu10. Facilitates all smoke breaks; assuring that clients remain on property, do not engage in negative behaviors andare adhering to time frames.11. Facilitates breathalyzers and uring drug screens and gathers reports for clinical team12. Ensuring client satisfaction with care13. Adherence to facility policy and procedures, State & Federal lawSkills/Qualifications:1. Bachelors Degree in a Human Services related field or;2. Associates Degree and 2 years of Behavioral Healthcare experience or;3. High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 4 years experience in Behavioral Healthcare4. Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude5. Bachelor’s Degree in health services field, or High School Diploma and at least 2 years of experience in abehavioral healthcare setting6. Impeccable ethics and integrity7. Valid Arizona Driver’s License8. Current CPR Certification9. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills10. Computer literacy11. Outstanding customer service skills and abilities12. Ability to take direction and make sound decisions13. Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries at all times14.
