As an upholsterer, you will play a crucial role in transforming their furniture pieces into beautiful, functional works of art. Your expertise in fabric selection, padding, and stitching will ensure that the furniture not only meets but exceeds their customers' expectations.

Responsibilities:

· Upholstery Fabrication: Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather to upholster various furniture pieces such as chairs, sofas, and ottomans.

· Padding and Cushioning: Apply padding and cushioning materials such as foam, cotton, or synthetic fiber to provide comfort and shape to furniture.

· Frame Preparation: Prepare furniture frames by applying webbing, springs, or padding as needed before upholstering.

· Pattern and Design Matching: Ensure patterns and designs on fabrics are aligned correctly, maintaining aesthetic consistency across furniture pieces.

· Repair and Restoration: Assess damaged or worn-out furniture and execute repairs or restoration work to extend the life and appeal of the piece.

· Quality Control: Inspect finished furniture for quality, ensuring each piece meets our standards for craftsmanship and durability.

· Collaboration: Coordinate with designers, woodworkers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of upholstery with overall furniture design.

· Material Management: Manage inventory of upholstery materials, ensuring adequate supply levels for ongoing projects.
