REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 1-2 years of experience in Autodesk Revit (CAD acceptable for the right candidate)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree
• Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit
Insight Global is seeking a qualified design technician in Ruther Glen, VA join a large engineering client of ours. The Design Technician II will need to be experienced in Autodesk Revit, in either an academic or professional setting.
The Design Tech will be responsible for the following.
- Complete design tasks for typical spaces/scope based on established project standards and task-specific guidelines
- Perform spooling (assembly layout) for moderate- to high-complexity scope;
- Annotate drawings; performing data entry based on established guidelines and standards; printing and distributing sheets;
- Set up sheets; provide support for other basic model management functions;
- Create, dimension, annotate multi-discipline drawings and sketches based on coordinated model (e.g. wall and floor penetration, etc.)
- Annotate detailing and spooling drawings; perform data entry based on established guidelines and standards; print and distribute sheets
