7 Oaks Engineering is looking for an amazing new civil engineer designer to join our team in our Silverton, Oregon office. At 7 Oaks you will get a hands-on experience working on all types of land development projects including commercial, multi-family, residential, industrial, schools, wineries, and more, throughout Oregon, California, and Washington.


We are looking for the right person who wants to take an active part in growing the firm for the future while broadening their professional skillset along the way. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive work environment.


We are looking for an engineer who:


• Displays a positive and professional attitude with a high level of integrity and motivation.

• Is looking for an opportunity to advance their career by joining a small and growing civil engineering firm.

• Is capable of multi-tasking on many projects in a challenging environment.

• Takes pride and satisfaction in their work and is capable of building relationships with clients.

• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Is seeking a healthy work/life balance while working from our location in Silverton.

• A driven, outgoing individual who excels when working alongside other team members and clients.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering; 2+ years of experience in civil engineering

• EIT preferred but not required.

• Proficient with AutoCAD C3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office


At 7 Oaks you will get the opportunity to:


• Work directly with the project head on all aspects of the project, including project set-up, drafting, design, quality review, project coordination, etc.

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, technical reports, and cost estimates.

• Analyze maps, reports, drawings, and as-builts for design projects.

• Assist with post design construction support services including contractor RFI responses, material submittal reviews, as-built preparation, and field observations.

• Assist with coordination between public and private agencies, consultants, and team members.
