We're working with a client headquartered in Cleveland to identify an Epic Cadence Architect. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of the Epic Cadence/Decision Tree module to support efficient scheduling, registration, and patient access workflows across healthcare facilities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of Cadence configuration, workflows, integration points, and system interfaces, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead Cadence build activities, including system configuration, rule development, master file maintenance, and data validation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Participate in project planning, governance, and change management activities, coordinating with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Cadence solutions.
  • Conduct system testing, quality assurance, and validation activities to ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of the Cadence module, identifying and addressing issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of IT healthcare experience with hands-on Epic Cadenceand Decision Tree build and support experience
  • Strong understanding of healthcare scheduling, registration, and patient access workflows, with knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Epic Cadence build tools, configuration options, and customization capabilities, with experience in developing and maintaining Cadence master files, templates, and rules.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, work effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
