Position: Biller


Pay: $18-$21 per hour (Based on experience). Negotiable for experienced candidates.


About the Job: Seeking a billing float to cover various areas of the billing and revenue cycle team. Responsibilities include billing, coding, follow-up, customer service, payment posting, and call center-based payment calls.


Requirements:

  • 1+ year of recent revenue cycle experience.
  • Familiarity with billing, EOBs, insurance plans.
  • Coding experience helpful but not required.
  • Proficient with different systems; tech-savvy.
  • Customer service/call experience advantageous.
  • Knowledge of timely filing and insurance plans.


Education: High school diploma or equivalent.


Previous Work Experience: Experience in a medical office with knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT coding and Medicare exclusions required. Exposure to various insurance programs preferred.

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficiency with computers and decision-making tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
