This is a 12 month contract position with our direct client located in Oak Brook, IL. Possible extensions. This position is hybrid.


Position Summary

Support the Green Power Connection Team by assisting customer green power journeys. This support includes significant interface with customers (via phone, email and face-to-face):

· Educating customers about green power options and corresponding programs and services

· Providing guidance and assistance to customers who choose green power as they navigate the net metering process and

· Responding to questions and concerns about net metering application status, net metering credits, green power-related energy usage and billing, etc.

Responsibilities also include ongoing proactive green power services to customers, including the following:

· Internal green power outreach, educating customer-facing employees with expertise needed to serve as extensions of the Green Power Connection Team – and internal green power outreach designed to expand the population of green power ambassadors

· External green power outreach

· Services to customers, enhancing green power education, preventing gaps in net metering credits, supporting optimization of net metering credits, protecting against misleading green power claims by independent parties, etc.

Inform designs, test, and deploy software and other tools used to best manage customer green power journeys.

Support and manage the net metering application and enrollment process as it aligns with the legislative requirements. This includes corresponding and interacting with internal and external departments and customers to ensure customer accounts are appropriately assigned to net metering.

Monitor, interface, and coordinate activities with other departments to ensure proper meter exchanges, submit billing requests, and completion of the enrollment process. Correspond with customers to ensure that required forms and agreements are completed and returned by the customer.

Candidates should have knowledge of solar, wind, and other renewable energy technologies; understanding of net metering; a focus on customer service; with past experience in these areas preferred.
