Stamford, United States Charm.io Full time

Overview

Charm’s data-SaaS platform provides the most comprehensive, global data across 4 million DTC brands and TikTok Shops. Our advanced AI and ML-powered proprietary intelligence engine provides unparalleled insights into brand performance, revenue growth, sales distribution, and social awareness. Our platform is an indispensable tool for retailer teams for merchandising, and corporate development, investor teams for sourcing and diligence, and sales teams in b2b software, agencies, and 3PL sectors. Ulta Beauty, Academy Sports, ShipBob, and other large enterprises rely on our software to accelerate their business.

We’re at the ideal risk/reward juncture - we recently closed a Series A financing with strategic industry investors, and are on track to 3x EOY ARR in 2024. You will join a highly motivated management team who have previously operated and exited similar businesses. The position also offers the ideal setup for the right candidate - a viable initial product offering, with extensive opportunity to shape the future direction. We work very hard but also appreciate the need for a healthy work/life balance.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Product Manager to oversee product strategy and development for Charm’s data intelligence platform. This role requires a strong technical background combined with strategic product management skills to lead product initiatives from conception to market launch. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class product that meets customer needs and drives market growth.

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define, develop, and communicate a clear product vision aligned with Charm’s business goals and customer needs.
  • Roadmap & Planning: Lead the product roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with cross-functional teams, setting realistic timelines and achievable goals.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics, customer feedback, and industry trends to make informed product decisions and improve product performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, data science, and customer-facing teams to ensure seamless integration of technical features with business objectives.
  • Technical Requirements: Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications for the development team.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to ensure Charm.io’s product remains relevant and competitive.
  • Product Launches: Manage end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation through deployment, ensuring successful, timely product launches.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, transparent communication with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment on product goals, challenges, and milestones.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in product management, with a focus on technical product management in a SaaS or data-oriented environment.
  • Deep understanding of the ecommerce ecosystem, with insights into industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive dynamics to drive valuable innovation and differentiation.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS product development, with data science and AI/ML experience as a plus.
  • Proven experience with analytics and product metrics to make data-informed decisions.
  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, aligning them around a common vision and driving toward successful outcomes.
  • Deep empathy for customer needs and a track record of delivering products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Why Work With Us

  • Own the roadmap for a high-growth, high-impact product with proven market demand.
  • Competitive Salary & Equity Options.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, vision, and unlimited PTO.
  • Growth Opportunity: Join during an exciting phase of growth, with opportunities to expand your impact as the company scales.

Charm.io is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
