We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Inspector. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting inspections, overseeing field operations, and providing technical guidance to junior technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Technicians are responsible for proper documentation and review of construction procedures and test results
  • Field inspection and quality control of masonry construction
  • Foundation construction observations / inspections
  • Inspection of concrete placement and concrete curing
  • Plant inspection for pre-manufactured products
  • Post-tensioning and reinforcing steel inspection
  • Soil compaction testing and inspection
  • Steel fabrication inspection and erection and fastener inspection
  • Weld inspection and testing
  • Conduct on-site inspections of construction materials including reinforced concrete, soils, structural steel, and masonry.
  • Perform quality control tests on materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians in field operations, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address any material-related issues and provide technical recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, test results, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders such as contractors and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies related to construction materials testing and inspection.

Qualification/Certifications:

  • ACI or ICC Certifications (will be trained if not already certified):
  • ACI - Concrete Field Testing Technician
  • ICC - Structural Masonry Certification
  • ICC - Structural Steel / Welding Certification
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Driver's License (Required)
