Construction Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Inspector. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting inspections, overseeing field operations, and providing technical guidance to junior technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Technicians are responsible for proper documentation and review of construction procedures and test results
- Field inspection and quality control of masonry construction
- Foundation construction observations / inspections
- Inspection of concrete placement and concrete curing
- Plant inspection for pre-manufactured products
- Post-tensioning and reinforcing steel inspection
- Soil compaction testing and inspection
- Steel fabrication inspection and erection and fastener inspection
- Weld inspection and testing
- Conduct on-site inspections of construction materials including reinforced concrete, soils, structural steel, and masonry.
- Perform quality control tests on materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians in field operations, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address any material-related issues and provide technical recommendations.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, test results, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as contractors and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies related to construction materials testing and inspection.
Qualification/Certifications:
- ACI or ICC Certifications (will be trained if not already certified):
- ACI - Concrete Field Testing Technician
- ICC - Structural Masonry Certification
- ICC - Structural Steel / Welding Certification
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
