We are seeking an experienced and passionate Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality millwork products including cabinets, countertops, and other woodwork items.
  • Create detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish product specifications and production schedules.
  • Oversee the production process, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to established specifications.
  • Conduct tests on completed millwork products to validate product performance and durability.
  • Troubleshoot design and production issues, implementing effective solutions to maintain productivity.
  • Participate in the budgeting and planning process, estimating material, labor, and overhead costs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols in the production area.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in millwork engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Wood Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in millwork engineering or a related role.
  • Proven experience in designing and manufacturing woodwork, casework, cabinets, and countertops.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
  • Exceptional knowledge of woodworking machinery and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures within a production setting.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on industry trends.
