This role will support the entire Texas Sales and Estimating Teams and can be located any of the following Texas branches: Dallas, Dayton, Waxahachie, or Jewett. Note: This position will support the entire Texas region Sales team, and can be located out of any of the following branch locations: Waxahachie, Dallas, Dayton, or Jewett.

PURPOSE:
Perform administrative support at a basic operational level regarding essential functions necessary for the Texas Region Sales and Estimating teams.

BASIC FUNCTIONS
•    Must adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s safety programs and standards.
•    Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s vision and values.
•    Assist with answering phones and general office administration functions.
•    Communicate/distribute all pertinent Human Resources information to location employees.
•    Assist sales/estimating staff in the preparation of sales bids and project quotations, contract document flow, and opportunity tracking. 
•    Assist with sales follow-up and reporting.
•    Develop exceptional working relationships with customers (internal and external) and vendors.
•    Prepare and record necessary paperwork.
•    Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
 

•    Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
•    Must have a high school diploma, GED, or local/state equivalent.
 

•    Two year degree from an accredited school or college
•    Prior experience in the construction industry
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

•    Able to coordinate multiple tasks and work under deadline pressure
•    Accuracy and attention to detail
