Action Group is assisting an International Manufacturer with a local presence in locating a self starting team player to assume the role of Senior Purchasing Buyer.

Ideal candidate has extensive experience in the procurement of structural steel and other industrial supplies to support the manufacturing of client's products.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (preferred) OR
  • GED/HS Diploma AND 10 years combination of training and/or experience
  • Onsite in Catoosa, OK


Responsibilities:

  • Administrative duties related to procurement of goods and services
  • Manage all supplier related activities
  • Work with vendors to ensure timely deliver, expediting as necessary and possible
  • Verifies bills from suppliers with bids and purchase orders
