The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, quality control, and staff management.


Head Chef Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, including hiring, training, and scheduling staff
  • Develop creative and innovative menu offerings that showcase our commitment to authentic Italian cuisine
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste are consistently maintained
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
  • Enforce strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize kitchen operations
  • Stay updated on industry trends and culinary techniques to continually improve and enhance our menu offerings
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and professional growth among kitchen staff


Head Chef Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a restaurant setting, preferably with experience in Italian cuisine
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with other members of the management team
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary institution preferred
