Position Overview

CelerData is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our fast-growing team. As a rapidly advancing company in the analytical database industry, we need someone who can drive product development and ensure our solutions meet diverse user needs. If you are passionate about building cutting-edge database solutions and excel in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.


What You Will Be Doing:

  1.  Ability to communicate closely with customers and community users to continuously enhance user experiences by understanding their needs and gathering feedback. Develop and analyze customer surveys to generate actionable insights and drive product improvements.
  2. Analyze customer issues to identify potential database enhancements using data analysis, competitive insights, and user research to define core requirements.
  3. Define or contribute to the product vision and roadmap, manage incremental execution through successful product launches, develop product prototypes, and write PRDs for Celerdata cloud service.
  4. Support product marketing by creating blogs, demos, and documentation, and conduct internal and external enablement sessions.
  5. Communicate with other ecosystem partners to build better pipelines for the open lakehouse, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced functionality.


What We Are Looking For:

  1. Excellent presentation, communication, and coordination skills with a strong teamwork spirit to collaborate with various departments such as engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, and users/customers.
  2. Proficiency in Figma or other product design tools for quick prototype designing.
  3. 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager in SaaS system products and database-related systems.
  4. Ability to communicate technical content to diverse non-technical audiences.
  5. Enthusiastic about the startup environment, willing to accept the intensity of startup work, and able to collaborate with colleagues across different time zones.


What Would Be Nice to Have:

  1. Familiarity or domain knowledge in database algorithm internals, data analytics or backend technologies.
  2. Familiar with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshfit, Athena, Bigquery and related data analytics services.
