Note to candidates: The starting date for this role is July 15th and requires 4 weeks of paid training in Massachusetts. Travel will be covered + per diem. There is no physical office, but this role will require that the candidate reside in the Greater Milwaukee area. You will travel locally to customer sites, networking events, etc.

Job Description:


As an IT Technician & Consultant at Cinch I.T., you are crucial in ensuring that our clients’ IT systems operate seamlessly. This role demands proficiency in handling both remote and onsite technical issues, employing your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve challenges efficiently across multiple devices and platforms.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide prompt and empathetic assistance to clients experiencing technical difficulties.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues on various devices and platforms.
  • Install, configure, and update PC software and operating systems.
  • Assist in network setup, administration, and security measures.
  • Perform regular maintenance on IT systems to ensure peak performance.
  • Document all technical procedures and create user-friendly guides for clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance and expand our IT services.


Qualifications:


  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least two years of experience in IT support, ideally in a help desk or customer service environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and resolving basic to intermediate technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
  • A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or similar credentials highly regarded.
