SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST – SWE Software Engineering CTG Corp Admin & Enterprise Capabilities

As an Analyst working within the Corporate Technology Group, you are deeply committed to improving the value delivered to our customers. In an agile structure you will collaborate with other squad members, squad lead and analyst chapter lead to help establish the requirements for your squad, influence the strategic decisions and help build solutions for your domain.

This position aligns to the Future of Work (FoW) squad which is a part of the Fidelity Corporate Technology Group. The squad is focused on creating an enterprise mobile app (for native iOS and Android platforms) that provides a personalized experience by integrating capabilities to enhance the hybrid work experience and allow for a continuous improvement of the end-to-end associate experience. Other apps developed and supported by this squad include community connect and user experience related initiatives. The role will also involve working closely with the Managed Real Estate squad whose remit includes providing solutions for construction management and facilities optimization.

If you have solid experience of requirements definition for sophisticated projects and a desire to work closely with development teams and business partners daily, then this could be an ideal role for you

§ Degree in Technology subject area/Business with strong IT focus

§ 5+ years of Systems Analysis experience within the IT field, financial services, or related environment

§ Passionate about your craft with an ability to effectively collaborate and interact with global development team – assist with clarifying customer requirements and quality check on products prior to customer release

§ Facilitate regular meetings with global development team and customer/squad lead

§ Coordinate and/or implement project and release planning and testing

§ Provide prompt and proactive status updates on assigned activities

§ Deep knowledge of your role in supporting both developers and customers in the software development lifecycle, from ideation through to launch and beyond

§ Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and strong customer relationship skills

§ Your positivity and strength in working within a team of very hardworking engineers

§ Ability to effectively communicate technical and business requirements and issues/risks to technical and non/technical teams

§ Must have the ability to multi-task and handle multiple small to medium projects with shifting priorities and firm deadlines

§ Proactively partnering with Chapter Area, Center of Excellence, and Squad Leader to:

• ensure the work performed is aligned with established road maps
• remove impediments to delivering value
• actively share insights, knowledge, and agile standard processes across the organization

§ Constantly promoting a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement

§ Ability to adapt to unfamiliar circumstances and deliver high quality work

§ Willingness to learn new skills and take on challenges and develop domain expertise in the applications and environments you own and support

§ Ability to articulate the needs of user personas in the creation of stories plus the ability to speak with developers on the technical requirements to achieve such stories

§ Data analysis, including the ability to pull data using SQL or other reporting tools, to articulate/solve current application features/data flows as well as opportunities for enhancements

§ You continuously improve and encourage an agile way of working

§ Strong Working Knowledge of portfolio planning processes and Agile tools

§ Your commitment to providing analysis skills for high quality, innovative, maintainable software solutions

§ Facilitate resolution of issues and/or identifying approaches to solutions

§ You will be contributing directly to the rollout of features for the Future of Work squad
