Job Title: HR Manager/Director


Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager/Director to lead our human resources department. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, HR compliance, and strategic workforce planning. This role demands strong leadership, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to align HR initiatives with the organization's goals and objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the HR team in all areas of human resources management, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training, and development.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs in line with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Conduct annual reviews of the employee handbook, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and best practices, and communicate updates to all employees.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management to address inquiries, interpret contracts, and resolve work-related issues.
  • Engage in hands-on activities and maintain regular face-to-face interactions with employees to foster operational excellence and effective communication.
  • Develop financial strategies for HR operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and corrective actions.
  • Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure legal compliance.
  • Use statistical data and reports to identify and resolve personnel issues, recommending improvements to HR policies and practices.
  • Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning to support employee growth and advancement.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations on HR matters to support business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop proactive strategies to address challenges and opportunities.
  • Lead HR-related initiatives and projects, such as organizational restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Provide succession planning for employees to foster the next generation of leaders.
  • Collaborate effectively with a global team, demonstrating proficiency in tech tools and platforms, and accommodating different time zones and cultural differences.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to educate, network, and market the organization.
  • Lead business start-ups, including recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing oversight.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in HR management with a proven track record of success in implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree in HR or Organizational Leadership preferred.
  • HR Certification (SHRM) required.
  • Thorough understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and the MS Office Suite.
