We are an industry-leading engineering company currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician. Our ideal candidate will be a dynamic, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, machinery maintenance, welding, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:
1. Oversee routine maintenance of equipment and machinery.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery and equipment.
3. Conduct repairs on faulty machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to production.
4. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating at peak levels.
5. Utilize your welding expertise for machinery repair and maintenance.
6. Handle the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, ensuring safety and efficiency.
7. Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring their optimal performance.
8. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure overall efficiency and productivity.
9. Document all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and analysis.
10. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
2. Proven experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and machinery maintenance.
3. Proficiency in welding and a solid understanding of electrical systems.
4. Demonstrable knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
5. A technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
7. A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. A commitment to safety and adherence to protocols and regulations.
