Role Description
This is a Full Time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant at Pain Care Boise in Boise, ID. The role involves providing comprehensive care and treatment to patients with chronic pain conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress.
In general, your role will include:
- Clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of both established and new patients
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with Idaho prescriptive regulations
- Monitor, assess and evaluate patient progress throughout the disease process and therapeutic or diagnostic interventions
- Patient education and support regarding disease process, treatment plan, medications and diagnostic procedures around managing chronic plain
- Will be trained in peripheral musculoskeletal injections
Qualifications
- Strong patient assessment and treatment skills
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion for patients with chronic pain
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Idaho
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Experience in pain management or related field is a plus
