The Superintendent (Multifamily) will be responsible for managing all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.


Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop and implement detailed project schedules, including sequencing of work, resource allocation, and milestone deadlines.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Anticipate and proactively address potential scheduling conflicts or delays to keep projects on track.


Site Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination, material handling, and equipment usage.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.


Quality Control:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that workmanship and materials meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks at various stages of construction to identify and address any deficiencies or issues.
  • Work closely with project managers and design teams to resolve construction-related challenges and ensure adherence to project plans.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in multifamily construction, with a proven track record of successful project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials relevant to multifamily residential projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
