Senior Corporate Accountant King of Prussia, PA

$85K-$95K DOE + Benefits + Bonus with UNLIMITED GROWTH POTENTIAL



The Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for the accurate and timely management and recording of Accounting transactions including month-end close process, all corporate account reconciliations as well as the management and oversight of all Accounting functions. This role will have no direct reports and will report to the Director of Corporate Accounting.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure all financial information is reported accurately and in timely manner
  • Responsible for all Journal Entries, accruals, month/quarter/year-end close processes
  • Perform GL Accounting in accurate and timely manner
  • Provide information explaining budget variances after analyzing financial statements
  • Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accurate reporting
  • Ensure department adherence to GAAP standards and monitor internal financial controls
  • Analyze and correct discrepancies in financial records
  • Assist with preparation of documents for internal and external year-end audits
  • Responsible for Corporate bank account reconciliations in timely manner
  • Assist with forecasts, budgets and interdepartmental reporting as necessary
  • Perform recording of daily cash activity and cash application reporting
  • Provide recommendations to streamline and improve current processes


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 4-5 years of general accounting experience
  • Proficiency with GAAP Standards to ensure compliance in all financial functions
  • High level of accuracy with attention to detail in fast paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • Possess strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and effectively adapt to shifting priorities
  • Proficient in ERP software, Advanced MS Excel and MS Office applications
  • Software Implementation and M&A experience a big plus
