Role Description

BrYet US, Inc. is seeking skilled Semiconductor Process Technicians for its R&D and manufacturing operations in College Station, TX. This position will focus on electrochemical etching of patterned silicon wafers, silicon microparticle processing, and silicon microparticle characterization within a semiconductor cleanroom.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrochemical etching of patterned silicon wafers.
  • Perform centrifuge processing of silicon microparticles.
  • Perform scanning electron microscope (SEM) inspection and Multisizer 4e characterization of silicon microparticles.
  • Handle and manage materials and chemicals, including hydrofluoric acid (HF), with strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety protocols.
  • Record and document all process parameters and outcomes accurately and meticulously.
  • Identify, document, and collaboratively troubleshoot process and/or equipment issues, quality, and procedural non-conformances.
  • Perform design of experiment (DOEs) tests defined by engineering management.
  • Identify process and operational improvement ideas and work with engineering management to evaluate and implement them.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing; proven experience with electrochemical etching, centrifuge processing, SEM inspection, and Multisizer 4e characterization is preferred.
  • Strong background and experience working with hazardous chemicals, particularly HF.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a minimum of an Associate of Science degree in a STEM discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Visiting Scholar status within a specific state university system in Texas which will be subject to an investigative report that may include, but not be limited to, a criminal record check, employment and education verification, and driving record.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require sponsorship for an employment visa.
