Job at a Glance

The TIBCO Solution Architect will manage and support the operational needs of TIBCO applications, ensuring their stable performance and compliance with service level agreements. This role focuses on middleware application management, including enhancements, maintenance, and Level 2 support for TIBCO products such as Enterprise Message Service, BusinessWorks, and Kubernetes environments. The architect will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless application operations and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

Required

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience (7+ years of experience in lieu of degree)

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in managing and supporting production applications, particularly TIBCO products

• Licensure/Certifications: TIBCO Technology certifications are a plus

Preferred

• Experience: Expertise in TIBCO suite (BusinessWorks, Enterprise Message Service, APIX, Mashery, Managed File Transfer, BusinessWorks Container Edition, BusinessEvent, ActiveSpaces)

• Certifications: Additional certifications in relevant IT domains


Responsibilities

• Support the Service Delivery Manager in providing reliable, cost-effective IT services aligned with customer needs.

• Work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the stable operation of TIBCO applications, addressing incidents, problems, and service tickets.

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues or implement appropriate workarounds.

• Oversee TIBCO operations and vendor support for new releases, upgrades, patches, or enhancements.

• Lead support teams (internal and external) in adhering to internal standards, policies, and operational guidelines.

• Monitor application performance and availability, ensuring compliance with SLAs. Provide transparent reporting on application issues and resolutions to IT leadership.

• Manage the Release & Deployment process for TIBCO applications, ensuring a smooth transition to the production environment.

• Plan and execute Service Introduction and knowledge transfer from project teams to operations teams.
