Biomedical Engineer

Onsite Role –

Job Responsibilities a. Execute Instrument Refresh activities which includes Instrument:

i. Instrument decontamination, Instrument Hardware installations, Instrument Software installations, and Assay Run/Final Verifications

b. Support of internal instrument systems used for design and development of Client Molecular Products, design.

c. Participates in projects involving support and service of assigned products.

d. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.

e. Conducts technical training for assigned products.

f. Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation.

g. Provides problem resolution for worldwide technical product support.

h. Develops and/or provides input into Field Service tools for use in the field to service Client Molecular instrumentation.

6. Estimated onsite and subsequent travel time to average approximately 25% of total time, though this can increase significantly at times of elevated activity.

This position is NonExempt.

Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.

Possesses demonstrated work experience as established by engineering organizations, employers and licensing authorities for employment in the various disciplines of engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Electromechanical, Design, etc..

Candidates best suited for this position will typically have obtained a Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in a related field or a suitable combination of experience and education relative to the position.
