Structural Engineer

We're in search of a dynamic Structural Engineer to join our client's Construction Engineering Services team. In this role, you'll be part of a growing team that supports all facets of the construction process, from innovative design engineering to risk management, ensuring the safety of our construction crews.

As a Structural Engineer, you'll be responsible for a range of design-build tasks, including:

• Bridge erection & demolition
• Cofferdam design
• Critical crane lifts
• Erection sequencing & staged construction analysis
• Hoisting and jacking
• Deep foundations and dewatering
• Excavation support
• Marine engineering
• Pile drive analysis
• Soil anchoring design
• Micro/mini/rock-socket piles design
• Falsework design
• Temporary bridge & trestle
• Drafting and CAD
• Working surface design
• On-site engineering support

You'll also evaluate existing structures for construction loads and demolition planning, ensuring stability during temporary conditions. Collaborating with project management and estimators, you'll assist in budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and client coordination.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience with temporary structures and/or construction engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree or greater in Structural Engineering preferred
• 5 - 7 years of relevant engineering experience
• Professional Engineer licensure (PE) or eligibility within the United States
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Civil 3D, and Finite Element Analysis Software
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Excellent organization skills and ability to handle multiple project assignments
• Capability to access all points of a construction site in various climates and environments
