Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate I, specializing in Quality Control Sample Management (QCSM) Notes. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a bachelor's or associate's degree, preferably in a scientific field, who possess basic laboratory techniques experience. The primary responsibility of the Associate I will be to assist in the management and documentation of quality control samples and related notes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sample Management: Assist in the organization, labeling, and storage of quality control samples according to established procedures.
  2. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of sample information, including batch numbers, expiration dates, and storage conditions.
  3. Notekeeping: Prepare and maintain comprehensive notes related to quality control procedures, including observations, deviations, and corrective actions taken.
  4. Communication: Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication of sample-related information and updates.
  5. Quality Assurance: Assist in periodic audits of sample inventory to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  6. Troubleshooting: Identify and report any issues or discrepancies in sample quality or documentation promptly.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, or related field).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Working Conditions:

This position primarily operates in a laboratory environment. The Associate I may be required to handle potentially hazardous materials and adhere to safety protocols. Occasional weekend or evening work may be necessary depending on project requirements.
