Job Title: HVAC Facilities/Shop Supervisor

Location: Riverside, CA


Job Summary


We seek a skilled and experienced HVAC Facilities/Shop Supervisor to oversee operations in a dynamic fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong HVAC or sheet metal distribution background and hands-on facility management experience. If you are based in Southern California, possess a local and stable work history, and have a passion for overseeing fabrication or shop operations, this position could be an excellent fit for you.


Key Responsibilities


  • Supervise all aspects of the shop, including HVAC and sheet metal fabrication activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Maintain facility infrastructure, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and equipment maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead a team of technicians and fabricators, providing guidance and hands-on support when necessary. Ensure all staff adhere to safety and operational protocols.
  • Coordinate material handling and distribution within the facility, managing inventory for sheet metal, HVAC components, and related supplies.
  • Ensure all fabrication and repair work is completed to industry standards, maintaining the highest level of quality for all projects.


Qualifications


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HVAC or sheet metal distribution environment, preferably within Southern California.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, fabrication facilities, and general building maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work hands-on within the facility, supporting and supervising technical staff.
  • Preference for candidates with a stable and established career history in the Southern California region.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project is a plus.


Preferred Experience


  • Prior experience working in or overseeing HVAC or sheet metal fabrication shops.
  • Familiarity with managing maintenance and repair schedules for HVAC and sheet metal fabrication equipment
