Overview

The Senior IT Specialist adds to the organization capabilities and improves the long-term IT infrastructure and services while working independently from their assigned campus. Effectively a Tier II position, the Senior IT Specialist will be the first point of escalation for IT assistance per campus, ensuring a polished, helpful presence at all times, making certain IT needs are met at every turn. This position will report to the IT Director, taking general direction from other members of the IT team.

*UP TO 25% TRAVEL REQUIRED WITH THIS ROLE

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work independently, applying deep knowledge and understanding to resolve technology
  • Provide advanced level 2 and 3 IT support and troubleshoot problems for employees and
  • Exemplify best in class customer service while working with customers, users, stakeholders, and
  • Create Knowledge Base articles for internal IT and external customer
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for personnel for problem solving and project planning and provide end-user support including educational classes and mentoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT service tickets in operations, applications, and systems as related to business operations in the entire technology ecosystem stack.
  • Monitor industry trends, technologies, and Research and recommend new ITSM technologies and solutions.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an additional (2) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a broad range of technology
