Role Description


This is an unpaid, on-site internship role for a Materials Scientist at PTech in Princeton, NJ. The Materials Scientist will be responsible for conducting research and development (R&D) in the field of nanotechnology, specifically for our proprietary composite material platform, the “Nanofilm”. The day-to-day tasks include working in the laboratory, conducting experiments, analyzing data, and creating prototypes.


Qualifications


  • In progress or completed bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
  • Laboratory Skills and experience in research and development (R&D)
  • Background in Materials Science and knowledge of Polymers
  • Understanding of Physics principles related to materials
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with nanotechnology is preferred
