Get ready to bring your technical prowess and passion for machinery to the fore as a Permanent Industrial Mechanic in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in an innovative and fast-paced environment where you will maintain and repair a wide range of industrial machinery. You will be working on all shifts, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

As an Industrial Mechanic, your responsibilities will extend across various domains, including but not limited to:

1. Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines, equipment, and their components to identify faults or malfunctions.
2. Conducting repairs or replacements of defective equipment parts.
3. Carrying out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
4. Diagnosing breakdown problems, replace faulty parts, and ensure equipment is running efficiently.
5. Working with specialized equipment such as AC/DC drives, electrical wiring systems, micrometers, calipers, hydraulics, and valves.
6. Adhering to safety regulations and ensuring the machinery and work environment is safe.
7. Assisting engineers and other professionals in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
8. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a unique blend of technical skills and experience. The ideal candidate must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic or in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in working with AC/DC drives, electrical wiring systems, micrometers, calipers, hydraulics, and valves.
3. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with industrial machinery and equipment.
4. Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime if required.
7. A high degree of technical knowledge balanced with creative problem-solving and eagerness to learn and apply new skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. An associate degree or completed apprenticeship in industrial machinery maintenance or any other related field.
