Lab Tech

Position: Test and Evaluation Lab tech

Location: Auburn, WA

Duration: 12 months (C2H)

Remote/Onsite: Onsite

Pay Rate: 35-40/hr

Hours: 2PM-10:30PM

Job Description: An aerospace company is looking for a lab technician who valuates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications. Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures. Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations. Proposes, develops and validates revisions to procedures and specifications. Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes. Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers. Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating and implementing new concepts and technology. Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers. Works under general direction.

Required skills/qualifications:

1. 2+ years chemistry/paint/quality (that they have in resume) one or the other

2. Chemical background (work involves lab testing)

3. Familiarity with painting applications

4. Lab testing listed on resume

Compensation:

$35-$40/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
