Software Engineer in Test, Principal
The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer in test who can support our Scale & Channel Optimization (SCO) technology teams in multiple ways such as automation testing, CI / CD build out, analysis, and application development.
The Expertise You Have

• Hands on testing experience, specifically using tools/frameworks like Angular, Java, Cypress, and Cucumber
• Development experience with Angular, NX, GraphQL, JenkinsCore
• Expertise in JenkinsCore and development in a monorepo
• Strong demonstrated experience in delivering software solutions in an Agile environment
• Passionate about crafting the best end-to-end customer experience
• A multi-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks and solutions
• Energetically pursue new technologies and their adoption
• Leading the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results
• Thrive in a fast paced, high demand environment
• Enjoy experimental development solutions
• 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience with architecting automation test platforms
• Demonstrated ability with architecting and implementing development pipelines (CI / CD)

The Team
The Engineering Excellence (EE) chapter resides in the Fidelity Wealth (FW) business unit of Fidelity Investments. The chapter consists of over 150 multi-stacked engineers with a passion around customer experience and with the engineering tool set to seek challenges including: Automated testing, performance testing, chaos testing, application cloud migration and management, CI / CD implementation, security testing and application development. The chapter’s support spans across all of FW and provides domain specialists to squads who develop products with the highest customer quality, security, stability, and experience. This role will directly support the SCO technology teams within FW. SCO is a Product Area within Wealth Distribution focused on developing an end-to-end ecosystem comprised of integrated digital solutions for advisors and clients that drive engagement and efficient processes.  Serving all Wealth Management clients and ~15K associates, SCO owns applications such as Air Traffic Control (ATC), Wealth Management Connect (WMC), and Associate Connect (ACN).
 

Dynamic Working

At Fidelity TalentSource, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we call “Dynamic Working.” Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity location for at least one week, 5 consecutive days, every four weeks. These requirements are subject to change.
