A client of Insight Global in the Omaha, NE area is seeking to add an Environmental Field Scientist for their growing Asbestos, Lead and Industrial Hygiene practice in the Omaha, Nebraska office. Day-To-Day:

The Environmental Field Scientist is responsible for carrying out field investigations and writing associated reports under the direction of senior management and other leadership. The Field Scientist would support experienced staff personnel across a variety of local and national projects to eventually become proficient in completing investigations on their own. Studying for and obtaining job related certifications are required and will be supported by the client.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Asbestos , Mold, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene Surveys
  • Indoor Air Quality Investigations
  • Asbestos, Mold, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene Project Oversight
  • Occupation Health Exposure Assessments
  • Preparation and Delivery of Technical Reports
  • Core Responsibilities:
  • Conduct tasks related to project monitoring, asbestos/lead inspections, indoor air quality (IAQ)/mold assessments, and/or other project assignments as appropriate
  • Perform air monitoring duties for asbestos abatement activities – from inspection to abatement oversight and monitoring
  • Analyze laboratory and engineering data
  • Prepare draft reports for review by senior management
  • Maintain consistent communication of project progress with senior management from start to finish of the project
  • Make employee safety a priority both in-house and on-site, in accordance with corporate policy
