A Ramsay Black client is seeking a well-qualified, self-motivated Division Order Analyst. This position would work as part of a Sustainment Team and will be a hybrid contract position.

Essential Functions:

  • Review of Title Opinions, Title related documents, Agreements and Oil and Gas Leases.
  • Resolve revenue and JIB issues and discrepancies.
  • Create and maintain division of interests and corresponding joint interest billing and revenue decks including marketing burden groups and BPO and APO decks when necessary.
  • Complex analysis of complicated calculations of interest, including but not limited to ORRI, NRI and DOI.
  • Verify company owned interests on any outside operated division order.
  • Analyze, set up and maintain revenue decks.
  • Handle interest transfers.


Education/Experience:

  • Minimum Qualifications: 8 years’ experience working as a Division Order Analyst at an oil and gas company.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Bakken, Texas, and Louisiana formations Haynesville/Permian.
  • SAP PRA Knowledge.
  • LandView Knowledge.


Required Skills:

  • Process focused, innovative, detailed oriented with a strong attention to work quality, and continuously improving • Ability to work as a team and independently with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, with exceptional understanding of Excel.
