Position Description:

Performs end-to-end DevSecOps automation using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (unit, component, functional, performance, and security test automation). Develops software applications, using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participates in architecture design teams.
• Defines and implements application level architecture.
• Develops applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
• Recommends development testing tools and methodologies and reviews and validates test plans.
• Responsible for QA readiness of software deliverables.
• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.
• Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
• Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget.
• Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.
• Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
• Acts as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project/technology issues.
• Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.
• Advises senior management on technical strategy.
• Mentors junior team members.
• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience creating Web-based software solutions according to Continues Integration/Continuous Deployment and Delivery methodologies, in an Agile environment.

Or, alternatively, Master s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience creating Web-based software solutions according to Continues Integration/Continuous Deployment and Delivery methodologies, in an Agile environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

• Demonstrated Expertise (\u201CDE\u201D) performing full-stack development; building Web applications by migrating designs to HTML templates; developing and integrating backend microservices and performing testing using HTML, CSS frameworks, and modern Model View Architecture libraries (Vue and Angular); and performing Web services development for back-end applications within SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDb, and Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) using NodeJS, NestJS, Java, Python, and Groovy.
• DE performing End-to-End testing (unit, functional, component, integration, API, and performance testing) using Test-Driven Development (TDD) frameworks (Junit, Cypress, and Mock-driven development methodologies); performing release orchestration according to Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies;\u00A0 monitoring and governing the quality, security, auditability, and traceability of releases using uDeploy, Jenkins, and Docker; conducting observability and quality checks to locate data discrepancies or service health issues using Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, and Google Analytics; and creating usage patterns based upon user interactions with developed Web applications.
• DE validating, interpreting, and converting design mockups using Sketch, Figma, and Adobe creative suite; and building reusable, responsive, and portable components using JavaScript frameworks, React, Angular, and Vue.js capabilities.
• DE guiding organizational change initiatives and engineering teams to implement Cloud Computing Service models (Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS,) and Software as a Service (SaaS) using AWS Platforms, JiraAlign, Domo, and Workday; performing data analysis and visualization using Grafana and Tableau; performing application containerization using Docker; and implementing continuous monitoring solutions using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Splunk.
