Position Summary

This individual will provide an important role in our project team by helping in various phases of the design process including master planning, site planning, landscape/planting design, hardscape design, plan preparation, and project management. The position requires a high degree of design sensitivity, graphic skills and land planning expertise in the land development sector.


Full-Time

40 hours per week


Qualifications And Experience

§ Designer at heart

§ Persuasive Communicator

§ Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or closely related field

§ Minimum 4+ years of related post graduate experience

§ Public and private sector experience desired

§ Congress for the New Urbanism Accreditation or Membership a plus

§ Candidate must have a firm understanding of transect urbanism and traditional neighborhood design

§ Strong hand graphics and design skills a must

§ Proficient working with the tools of the trade (trace paper, pencil, pen, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and other software applications)
