Overview:

The Director of Technology plays a pivotal role in leading the technology department within a medical / healthcare packaging manufacturing facility. This position involves strategic planning, innovation, and alignment of technology initiatives with the organization’s overall business goals.

Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy and Leadership:

• Collaborate with senior executives, including the CEO, to define and execute the company’s technology strategy.
• Drive technological innovation, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
• Oversee the development and implementation of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Budget Management:

• Manage the technology department’s budget, allocating resources effectively.
• Evaluate cost-effective technology solutions while maintaining quality and compliance.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay informed about medical device regulations and standards related to packaging.
• Ensure that technology practices comply with federal rules, regulations, and codes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Foster collaboration between technology teams, medical professionals, and other relevant departments.
• Enhance communication channels to improve overall efficiency.

Supplier Relationships:

• Cultivate healthy relationships with suppliers to ensure timely access to necessary materials.
