Full Job Description

  1. Front End Focus: Developer with a keen eye for aesthetic design and experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. The candidate will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. The candidate must be flexible with in-person team collaboration and feedback. This position requires previous web development experience in designing user interfaces. This position is ideal for engineers who prefer front-end development and who enjoy developing applications that are visible to the end user. This position requires working on-premise in the Logic Springs Technologies office in Lake Mary, Florida and does not include a remote work option.
  2. Back End Focus: Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, efficient, enterprise-grade applications. The candidate will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. The candidate must be flexible with in-person team collaboration and feedback. This position is ideal for engineers who prefer back-end development and who enjoy developing solutions to address complex business use cases. This position requires working on-premise in the Logic Springs Technologies office in Lake Mary, Florida and does not include a remote work option.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and create unit tests for applications in accordance with established standards and secure coding practices
  • Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with other software developers and testers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web-based business applications
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of users’ requirements and the development of estimates and work plans
  • Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software
  • Develop and refine integrations between applications
  • Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
  • Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code
  • Research and evaluate a variety of software products


Required Skills & Experience

  • Development languages: Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Database experience: SQL
  • Source code version control systems


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum professional experience as a Software Engineer: 4 years
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable professional experience
  • Responsive web design
  • Development languages: JQuery, React, Hibernate, Groovy, Grails and Spring
  • Database experience: SQL and DB2
  • Message queues: RabbitMQ
  • Restful web services
  • Documentation software: Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
