Exciting Career Opportunity: Robotics Applications Engineer – S. Lexington, MA


Ardent Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Robotics CATIA / 3D Applications Engineer to join a cutting-edge team in the robotics industry, renowned for their innovative and dynamic approach to robotics challenges. This role is hybrid and based in Waltham, MA, in a state-of-the-art facility where advanced mechanical designs meet cutting-edge technology to create high-performance robotics solutions.


  • 6 Month Contract with possibility of extension
  • Hybrid Schedule
  • 3 days/ week on-site in Lexington
  • Highly competitive pay rate


Role Overview:

As a key member of our Engineering Applications team, you will play a vital role in supporting internal teams by identifying and resolving technical challenges encountered during the design process within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Your insights into mechanical design will be crucial in developing effective solutions and improving design workflows.


Key Responsibilities for this CATIA/3D Applications Engineer:

  • Engage in the collection, definition, and testing/validation of new CAD, PLM, and engineering processes.
  • Provide daily support and mentoring on the Dassault Systems 3D EXPERIENCE platform, including CATIA 3DX and change management.
  • Develop and document best practices to enhance team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software vendors and application product teams for issue resolution and feature enhancements.
  • Manage support requests through a service desk application.


Desired Qualifications for this CATIA/3D Applications Engineer:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with the 3DExperience Platform.
  • Proficiency in Enovia Lifecycle Management and Change Management.
  • Strong background in mechanical design, preferably using CATIA V5/V6.
  • Skilled in creating presentations and technical training materials.
  • Proven customer service experience in technical roles.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or DoD sectors preferred. A proactive learner eager to advance within the organization.
