Web Accessibility Tester

Must-haves

3+ years of web accessibility testing experience

2+ years of experience working on specifically Mobile Applications

Strong understanding of WCAG 2.0 guidelines

Assistive Technology Tools- JAWS, VoiceOver, Talkback - desktop and mobile screen readers

Experience with automation tools for testing such as Deque, Attest, WAVE

Comprehensive and Visual accessibility analysis of web pages and wireframes for customer facing websites or mobile applications (identify barriers/ violations/ solutions; assist in identifying opportunity for improvement)

Great communication skills and ability to articulate solutions for accessibility

Insight Global is looking for a Web Accessibility Tester for their telecommunications client. He/ She will join the Accessibility team within the Customer Operations organization for one of our enterprise clients. Candidates will be individual contributors and be assigned to certain programs across the organization to audit the project and then create a roadmap of where and how accessibility should be implemented. The goal is to make applications and program accessible to improve the user experience. The group candidates will sit within is responsible for ensuring every product or application being launched is web accessible and follows WCAG standards. He/ She will work with different business and IT groups to take requirements, complete design reviews and communicate suggested changes to the teams. The Tester will analyze, design and develop with automation testing tools for accessibility such as Deque. They will conduct and organize comprehensive accessibility testing against the WCAG 2.0 Level AA Success criteria including automated scans, screen reader reviews, color sampling, keyboard only and code reviews.
