We are in search of an experienced Master Bicycle Builder / Mechanic. The candidate for this position will require the knowledge and ability to build eBikes, road, mountain, gravel, and triathlon bikes; as well as perform processes to ensure the highest quality standards are met for our customers.


Responsibilities:

·        Assemble new bicycles and ensure they are in proper working condition

·        Diagnose mechanical issues and identify root cause of any problems

·        Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance

·        Perform quality control testing to ensure bikes are 100% safe and in optimal condition

·        Maintain a clean and organized work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

·        Continuously seek knowledge and understanding of new technology and innovations in the market

·        Effectively communicate with team members and management to coordinate repairs, inventory, and customer orders

 

Qualifications:

·        Deep understanding and hands on experience of bike mechanics to work on a wide variety of bicycles, including and not limited to brands like Felt, Litespeed, Bianchi, Fuji, Bosch, Aventon

·        Certified by UBI or equivalent a plus

·        Hands on experience with specialized tools a must

·        Excellent communication skills

·        Hands on experience with Microsoft Office and POS software (Lightspeed a plus)

·        Must possess a keen eye for even the smallest of details.

·        Meticulous, mechanically-inclined problem-solver type

·        Vigilant in maintaining high quality standards

·        Highly motivated and thrives in team environment

·        Ability to manage workflow and meet deadlines

·        Occasionally help work directly with customers

·        Previous experience is required: Minimum 2 to 3 years with certifications. Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience without certifications
