WHAT YOU'LL DO:


PR & Influencer Magic:

  • Lead and execute multiple PR and influencer campaigns with flair
  • Get our stories featured in top Asian American and general market media outlets
  • Build and nurture relationships with influencers
  • Be our AAPI community and culture guru for clients
  • Bring your creativity to group brainstorms and strategy sessions
  • Stay ahead of the curve with industry trends, media landscape, and pop culture
  • Curate and maintain comprehensive media lists and influencer contacts
  • Support IW brand initiatives


Event Planning & Activations:

  • Design, manage, and staff exciting events and activations
  • Craft and execute innovative PR plans to support events and activations


Leadership & Innovation:

  • Lead client meetings and presentations with confidence
  • Create professional, engaging presentations and client reports
  • Leverage AI solutions to streamline workflows and elevate campaigns
  • Participate in professional and community organizations
  • Mentor and inspire junior staff and interns


WHAT YOU BRING:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field


Experience:

  • 5+ years in a PR role/environment
  • 3+ years at a reputable PR agency
  • Proven media and influencer relations experience
  • Expertise in key social media platforms (especially TikTok, Instagram, and X)
  • Familiarity with ChatGPT and/or other AI solutions in a professional setting


Skills & Abilities:

  • Outstanding client relations and people skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and editing)
  • In-depth understanding of the Asian American community and multicultural audiences
  • Superb organizational skills, initiative, flexibility, sound judgment, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively
  • Knowledge of press and the QSR landscape
  • Willingness to travel


WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Enjoy a hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the office and remote work the rest of the time
  • Be ready for extended hours when projects demand it (including weekends)
  • Attend exciting client events and travel nationally or internationally as needed


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Engage in a variety of activities, from sitting and using your hands to talking, hearing, standing, walking, and occasionally stooping or kneeling
  • Vision abilities required include close vision
