Application Configuration/Administrator

We are looking for an Application Configuration/Administrator for a top retail company in Mason, OH. This position will be hybrid and based out of the Mason office. Experienced build master that can support source-code management, branching, code merges, and Apache software configuration changes. Person will not do application development but must have a background in Java and demonstrate an understanding of coding languages and understanding of security compliance. Person would work with developers and middleware to support a java-based application stack. Associate would also support triaging of issues using an Application Monitoring tool. Person would also assist with JBOSS application management.


Required Qualifications:


  • Degree in Computer Science or Application Programming with 3-5 years of work experience
  • Understanding of Java
  • Understanding of Application Stacks
  • Ability to explain issues to non-technical Associates
  • Proficient with the MS Office suite
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn
  • Understanding of .NET
  • Experience working with JBOSS, Linux-based applications, and dynaTrace
  • Python Scripting a plus
  • Insurance or retail experience a plus
