Job Summary:

As an SAP PP/MM Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, designing, and implementing system requirements, with a primary focus on the PP and MM modules within SAP S/4 and ECC systems. This position holds significant responsibility in overseeing the upgrade of our SAP system from the 2019.09 version to the 2023 version. Leveraging your expertise in SAP, particularly within the manufacturing domain, you will drive the enhancement of business processes and system design, ultimately boosting operational efficiencies.


Key Responsibilities:


Support and actively contribute to the architecture, design, and elicitation of requirements for MM & PP modules in SAP S/4 and ECC systems.

Develop and effectively communicate business process designs (BPD), business systems designs (BSD), and comprehensive system test plans.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of the three PP manufacturing processes: Discrete, Process, and Repetitive.

Generate functional specifications for interfaces, forms, and extensions within the S4 HANA PP/MFG work stream.

Execute unit, functional, and system integration testing, while managing security aspects and addressing system deficiencies.

Oversee ECC and S4 HANA SAP systems interfaces, including integration with third-party systems, troubleshooting, and resolution of errors.

Possess a solid understanding of Output types, IDOCs, and batch jobs, utilizing them effectively to optimize system functionality.

Take ownership of issue and defect triage, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and conducting root cause analysis.

Craft detailed and articulate functional specifications for system enhancements and modifications.

Qualifications:


Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with S4 and SAP Fiori.

5 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing, showcasing a profound understanding of industry-specific SAP requirements.

Familiarity with SAP version 2023 is highly advantageous.

Demonstrated ability to manage Output types, IDOCs, and batch jobs is preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills and a penchant for conducting detailed root cause analysis.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to author and convey complex design documents effectively.
