Position Summary:

The holder of this position ensures the proper functioning of the company's IT equipment (stations and user profiles, printer applications, security, connection, configuration, switch, user stations, devices mobile, tablet, cell phone, etc.) Through their exceptional personality, he or she knows how to offer exemplary customer service in order to support people in their requests.


Responsibilities:

• Act as a resource person for technical support for users.

• Provide level 1 and 2 support.

• Perform software updates, preparation, configuration and installation of workstations, IP phones, cell phones, cameras and other network equipment.

• Manage its requests through the ticket system.

• Make suggestions and recommendations for the purchase of computer equipment.

• Ensure the updating and improvement of installation, configuration and troubleshooting procedures.

• Ensure accounts are updated in the Active Directory and in the email system.

• Put in place measures to be proactive and not just reactive.

• Ensure the maintenance of best industry practices.

• Monitor backups.

• Monitor the EDR Checkpoint system.

• Support for deployments.

• Ensure documentation of the various components, passwords, location, age, etc. of the IT equipment, as well as a network diagram that demonstrates the overview.

• Communicate with suppliers.


Requirements:

• Have a DEC, DEP or AEC in IT or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a company with 30 users or more.

• Mastery of Microsoft environments: Windows, Windows Server, Active Directory.

• A mastery of office automation technologies (PC, Laptop, printers, cell phones, tablets, Gun RF).

• Have a good knowledge of telephone systems.

• Good knowledge of network infrastructures: network cabling, Cisco switch, firewall, SIP Trunk, subnet, TCP/IP protocols, VLAN.

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL.

• Knowledge of the .Net programming language (Microsoft)

• Basic knowledge of virtualization systems: VMware, vCenter, vSphere ESXI, vSwitch, Host, Datastore, vMotion, Veeam.

• Diagnostic and decision-making skills, strength in communication, documentation, and monitoring.

• Basic knowledge of management systems in a manufacturing environment.
