Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Leader

A leading chemical company is seeking a seasoned Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Leader to drive the performance of its maintenance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical and instrumentation systems within our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead the E&I maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety and reliability.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Manage critical instrument preventative maintenance (PM) tasks through the site’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • SIS and Compliance: Oversee Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) testing and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • MOC and Corrective Actions: Handle Management of Change (MOC) processes and corrective actions, maintaining adherence to maintenance schedules.
  • Safety and Development: Promote safety within the E&I group and support the professional growth of technicians.
  • Reliability Program: Provide guidance on the corporate reliability program and manage E&I activities during plant outages.
  • Procurement and Budgeting: Collaborate on procurement contracts, manage contractor workforce, and ensure budget adherence.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Electrical and Instrumentation Equipment Maintenance within PSM-regulated chemical plants.
  • Management Skills: Proven track record of managing budgets, programs, and staff for over 7 years.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial electrical codes, Recognized And Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP), and PSM principles.
  • SIS Expertise: Strong knowledge of maintaining Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
  • Work Authorization: Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
