You are an integral part of molecular diagnostics assay development. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the development of cutting-edge molecular assays using innovative dPCR technologies. You will be involved in all phases of the assay development process, from planning and executing molecular biology experiments to analyzing data and documenting findings. Additionally, you will be responsible for presenting your findings to technical audiences, ensuring that your work makes a valuable contribution to the field of molecular diagnostics.


This position pays:$60-$70/hr


What you will be doing:

  • the development of innovative molecular diagnostics assays that will ultimately benefit patients by designing, executing and analyzing complex experimental studies.
  • to the creation of innovative solutions by collaborating with others and engaging in problem solving/ troubleshooting efforts.
  • the development of sustainable lab processes by participating in initiatives such as 5S, My Green Lab and the International Freezer Challenge.
  • scientific excellence by following good laboratory practices ensuring the integrity and safety of our work which is essential for a successful execution of our projects


What you bring:

  • years of experience and a B.S. in molecular biology or related life science field OR 2+ years of experience and a M.S in a related field
  • experience with nucleic acid technology relating to PCR, qPCR, and/or digital PCR
  • with Nucleic Acid extraction, NGS Library preparation, and liquid handlers are a plus for this role
  • with statistical analysis programs such as JMP, MiniTab or R.
  • at writing clear plans, reports and SOPs
  • verbal and written communication skills / logical and analytical
  • to learn, troubleshoot, and problem solve are essential
